Colortronic's Compact Discharge Unit, CDU ensures the immediate flow of material from material hoppers in continuous and batching processes. The CDU promotes the flow of regrind, wood flour, and other non-free flowing powders without noise, vibration or the creation of dust. Material is preconditioned exiting the CDU, enabling improved performance of post-processing devices such as loss-in-weight feeders. The compact design is achieved by employing a horizontal agitator in a hemispherical hopper. Colortronic slide gates can be intergrated with the CDU to provide a complete refill solution.
