To maintain precise control of variable speed DC motors the Voludrive, utilizing pulse width modulation technology. This technology keeps the motor torque constant over the entire seed range. The drive operates with a built-in quartz clock and digital control circuit that is directly tied inot the encoder speed feedback from the dosing monitor. The motor speed setpoint is maintained to an accuracey of one RPM. Inputs are make using a rugged keypad and all operating conditions are displayed via easy to read symbols.
