The film scrap reclaim precess offers many advantages over repelletizing. Scrap is restored to it original feedstock value. There is no need for any additional heat history to the materials. The cost of repelletizing, $0.15 - $0.25 per pound is eliminated. The film scrap reclaim system can reduce and even eliminate the scrap inventory.
