The cyclonic chamber is used as a pre-filter in central dust and fine systems to protect the vacuum pump from damage. The centrifugal force from the intake air causes the spinning motion of the rotor to separate particles from the air stream. The unit is 85% efficient up to 15 microns.

The central filter is made out of corrosion and abrasion resistant stainless steel and aluminum and non-corrosive engineering resin. The see-through collection chamber is easily removed by quick disconnects. The unit is easy to operate, access, and maintain.
