Colortronic's New CSR/AV-5 Powder Receiver Conveys Free-Flowing Powder

Colortronic announces the release its new CSR/AV-5 Series filtered vacuum receivers: These units come standard with flange mount configuration and brushed stainless steel construction. The CSR/AV-5 is used to convey free-flowing powdered, regrind or granular materials in a centralized conveying system.

With a low maintenance design, the CSR/AV-5 offers easy cleanout and reduced downtime with a quick access latched cover design; no tools are required for filter bag cleaning or changes. The CSR/AV-5 powder receivers offer efficient conveying while filters provide good release of dusty powders and regrind.

An efficient system area allows for low pressure drop and consistent material/air separation. An acrylic lined filter media allows for better dust release and increased filter performance. A low energy, high impact atmospheric filter cleaning system provides trouble free and reliable conveying of dusty material.

A 70 degree cone for hard to flow materials is optional on the CSR85 and CSR170 models. Additional options include: gravity discharge; butterfly discharge; slide gate discharge; optional filter medias are available. Units are available in 316 treated stainless constructed for food and pharmaceutical applications.
