Trouble-Free Conveying with New CVL Series Loaders

Colortronic North America, Inc. has recently introduced the CVL series compressed air loaders. The CVL series are self-contained loaders that provide efficient conveying of materials from drums, bins, material bags and gaylords with the use of a venturi and compressed air.

Available in several configurations to fit just about any single loading material conveying application, the modular design of the CVL series is simple to use, operate and maintain. A standard flange with quick release fasteners allows for fast and easy material changes and cleanout, while a simple control assembly provides easy-to-use operation.

Models available include:

CVL-A offers a single inlet that is used to convey clean, palletized material into a process and is available with 115 VAC voltage. Additional features include a control assembly with a low power consumption solenoid; air filter/regulator combination with pressure gauge and a capacitive sensor for material demand.

CVL-B can be used for both pellets and regrind and offers a single inlet that is used to convey pellets or regrind into a process and includes the same features as the CVL-A.

CVL-C is a single inlet venturi for both pellets and regrind with a special wye tube attachment that allows the conveying of two materials, usually a virgin and a regrind, into a process. The CVL-C has similar features as the CVL-B in addition to an additional control assembly for the second venturi, including air regulator with pressure gauges.

CVL-D is a mobile stand with a single inlet that conveys pellets or regrind to fill material drums, and is available with mobile drum stand on casters with two locking/two swivel and an adjustable arm; capacitive sensor for material demand and control assembly with low power consumption solenoid. The CVL-D is also available with a premium control package option that provides remote capacitive sensor; local sensor in barrel to indicate barrel high level; manual operation feature of solenoid for manual loading; and an energy-saving fill timer for timed fill cycle.
